This Privacy Policy applies to all websites, applications, and services operated by Diesel USA Holdings LLC, including dieselusaholdings.com, dieselcoin.io, and dieselcoin.net (Diesel Verified Tech). It describes how we collect, use, store, and protect personal information provided by users, drivers, presale participants, and visitors.
We collect information you provide directly, including your name, email address, phone number, state of residence, CDL information (last four digits only), and profile content. Through Diesel Verified Tech, we also collect GPS location data during active tracking sessions for the purpose of verifying mileage and calculating rewards. Identity verification is performed by Stripe Identity, a licensed third-party provider. We do not store full government ID numbers, Social Security numbers, or full CDL numbers on our servers.
Diesel Verified Tech collects GPS coordinates, speed data, route information, and session timestamps when a driver initiates a GPS tracking session. This data is used exclusively to verify driving activity, calculate DVT Point rewards, and build anonymized road data for our Trucker GPS Data Bank. Location tracking is always opt-in and can be ended by the driver at any time. We do not sell raw GPS data to third parties.
CDL identity verification is handled entirely by Stripe Identity. When you submit verification documents, Stripe processes and stores that data under their privacy policy and applicable law. Diesel USA Holdings LLC receives only a verification status result. We do not have access to your government ID images after submission.
We use the information we collect to operate and improve our platforms, verify driver identity and eligibility, calculate and distribute DVT Points and DSLCN rewards, send transactional and announcement emails, respond to support requests, enforce our Terms of Use, and comply with legal obligations. We do not sell your personal information to advertisers or data brokers.
We share data only with service providers necessary to operate our platforms, including Stripe (payments and identity), Cloudinary (media storage), Resend (email delivery), Helius (Solana blockchain data), and OpenStreetMap (mapping). Each provider is bound by data processing agreements and their own privacy policies. We may disclose information if required by law, court order, or to protect the rights and safety of Diesel USA Holdings LLC and its users.
We retain your account data for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide services. GPS session data is retained to support reward history and dispute resolution. You may request deletion of your account and associated personal data at any time by contacting privacy@dieselusaholdings.com. Certain data may be retained as required by law or for legitimate business purposes after deletion.
Our websites use cookies and similar technologies to maintain session state, remember preferences, and analyze traffic patterns. We do not use third-party advertising cookies. You can control cookie behavior through your browser settings. Some platform features may not function correctly if cookies are disabled.
Our platforms are not directed at individuals under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from minors. If we become aware that a minor has provided personal information, we will delete it promptly.
Depending on your state of residence, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or port your personal data, and to opt out of certain data uses. We implement industry-standard security measures including AES-256-GCM field encryption for sensitive personal data, HTTPS across all platforms, session token authentication, and rate limiting. No system is perfectly secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security of your information and encourage you to use strong, unique passwords.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify registered users of material changes by email or in-app notification. Continued use of our platforms after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
